- Design and Technology Curriculum at Gastrells
- At Gastrells, our Design and Technology curriculum encourages children to design, create, build and problem-solve.
- Children develop practical skills and learn how products are designed and made for different purposes and users. They have opportunities to work creatively and collaboratively, while developing skills such as problem-solving, communication and teamwork.
- Through exciting projects, including design challenges, cooking and enterprise activities, children apply their learning to real-life situations and develop an understanding of sustainability and the world of work.
- We celebrate children’s creativity and achievements and provide opportunities for them to share their work with others, including through local events such as the Stroud Lantern Parade.
- Our curriculum is inclusive and accessible to all, helping children develop skills and confidence that can support them in many different careers and future pathways.
