At Gastrells Primary School, we provide children with rich geographical experiences and opportunities that support a strong foundation for lifelong learning. Starting with their immediate locality and gradually extending to the wider world, we aim to deliver a high-quality, inclusive geography curriculum.

Our teaching encourages curiosity and a fascination with the world and its people, helping children to understand their place within it and to appreciate the diverse and ever-changing environments in which we live. Through geography, pupils develop knowledge of different places, cultures, resources, and both natural and human environments, alongside a deep understanding of key physical and human processes that shape our planet.
