(Personal, Social, Health, and Economic education) (Relationship and Sex Education)
At Gastrells, Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) education and Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) are integral parts of our broad and balanced curriculum. Together, they support pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural (SMSC) development and promote Citizenship and British Values.
Children are nurtured and supported to become healthy, confident and responsible members of society, with a strong understanding of tolerance, respect and diversity. Through PSHE and RSE, pupils learn to value themselves and others, celebrate inclusivity and develop positive relationships.
We encourage our children to become positive role models who are equipped with the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to make informed choices and thrive both in school and beyond, supporting a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
