On Friday, 8th November, we proudly took 37 enthusiastic pupils to Painswick Rugby Club to participate in the Stroud District Tag Rugby Competition. The atmosphere was electric as our students joined teams from across the district, ready to showcase their skills, teamwork, and school spirit. Despite the chilly November weather, our players showed fantastic energy, putting their all into every match. The support and encouragement among teammates were inspiring to see, creating a great sense of camaraderie and sportsmanship that represented our school values beautifully.

The competition was intense, but our students rose to the challenge. Our Year 3/4 A team delivered a strong performance, fighting hard through each round and ultimately securing a commendable 4th place finish. Meanwhile, our Year 5/6 team excelled displaying exceptional skill and determination to finish as district champions! We couldn’t be prouder of every student who played, giving their best and demonstrating true dedication on the field. A huge congratulations to all involved for a memorable and triumphant day at Painswick Rugby Club!
